Hui Huliau, a Native Hawaiian Organization, has acquired Washington, D.C.–based IT contractor Advantaged Solutions LLC, adding logistics and enterprise systems modernization work tied to defense and civilian federal agencies.
Advantaged Solutions provides finance and logistics systems modernization, enterprise resource planning cloud implementation and supply chain management services. Its customers include the U.S. Army, U.S. Navy, the Defense Logistics Agency and multiple civilian federal agencies, according to a news release from Hui Huliau.
HigherGov data show Advantaged Solutions associated with roughly $687 million in non-classified federal contract obligations over the past three government fiscal years.
Advantaged Solutions’ leadership team will remain in place following the transaction. Harold Goode will continue as president and Eric Fernandez will remain executive vice president, a structure intended to maintain continuity across existing programs and customer relationships.
Goode said the transaction aligns the company with an ownership model focused on long-term value creation and responsible operations, citing Hui Huliau’s community-centered mission as supportive of sustainable growth while expanding economic opportunity.
The acquisition follows a recent leadership transition at Hui Huliau. On Jan. 14, the organization appointed Terry Clark as chief executive officer, overseeing all for-profit companies. Clark previously served as president and chief operating officer. Deryl Wright remains engaged with Hui Huliau as a member of the board of directors.
Clark said Advantaged Solutions adds specialized capabilities in modernizing complex logistics and warehouse environments and brings a management team with established credibility among federal customers. He said Hui Huliau plans to support the company’s growth while maintaining performance standards required for mission-critical work.
Before joining Hui Huliau in 2017, Clark co-founded Vigilant Mission Services and held senior executive roles at Fort Sill Apache Industries and Chickasaw Nation Industries, including as chief information officer. He also served as chief information officer for the Chickasaw Nation. Clark is a retired U.S. Air Force officer with 23 years of service, including experience supporting national-level command and control operations.
Hui Huliau is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) Native Hawaiian Organization that owns a portfolio of companies, including firms participating in the Small Business Administration’s 8(a) Business Development Program. Revenue from federal contracting supports nonprofit programs focused on education, economic opportunity and the preservation of Native Hawaiian culture and language.
