ASRC Federal, an Alaska Native–owned government contractor, said it has won a contract valued at up to $2.3 billion from the Defense Logistics Agency to manage the U.S. military’s global supply chain for chemicals and packaged petroleum oils and lubricants.

The award to ASRC Federal Facilities Logistics covers the third generation of the agency’s Chemicals and Packaged Petroleum Oils and Lubricants Performance program, known as ChemPOL III. Under the contract, the company will manage planning, procurement, distribution and inventory oversight for chemical and lubricant commodities used across the Department of Defense.

The work supports more than 5,000 U.S. military installations worldwide and allied partners through Foreign Military Sales, and encompasses roughly 17,000 delivery orders per month, according to the company. ASRC Federal has supported the ChemPOL program since its launch in 2007.

Awarded by DLA’s aviation division, the contract includes a five-year base period, a three-year option and a two-year option, allowing for a potential 10-year term if all options are exercised.

Separately, ASRC Federal was selected for the Missile Defense Agency’s Scalable Homeland Innovative Enterprise Layered Defense, or SHIELD, contract vehicle, a multiple-award indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity program with a ceiling of $151 billion. The vehicle is designed to support homeland missile defense work through competitively awarded task orders.

ASRC Federal joins roughly 2,440 companies added to the SHIELD pool from more than 2,460 offers received in awards announced in December and January. No funding is obligated at the IDIQ level; revenue will depend on future task-order awards.

ASRC Federal is a subsidiary of Arctic Slope Regional Corp., one of the largest Alaska Native corporations, with operations spanning defense, IT, logistics and engineering services.
