Cook Inlet Region Inc. (CIRI), an Alaska Native corporation, has launched OSC Technical Solutions as a standalone operating company focused on federal IT, cybersecurity and critical infrastructure services.

The new company operates within OSC Global, a CIRI subsidiary, and is headquartered in the Tri-Cities region of Washington state. OSC Technical Solutions provides services including IT modernization, cybersecurity operations and industrial control systems security for federal and critical infrastructure clients.

The company brings experience from work supporting the U.S. Department of Energy at the Hanford Site in Washington, where it provides IT and cyber engineering services. OSC Technical Solutions continues to support Hanford Mission Integration Solutions, the site’s integrator responsible for managing operations and cleanup activities.

OSC Technical Solutions employs more than 350 professionals in the Tri-Cities region and is one of the larger IT employers in the area. Company officials said the new structure is intended to expand its technology and cyber engineering services beyond Hanford into additional federal markets.

The company plans to pursue work tied to nuclear energy programs, grid modernization, advanced manufacturing and other critical infrastructure initiatives.

CIRI is one of 12 regional Alaska Native corporations established under the Alaska Native Claims Settlement Act. Through subsidiaries such as OSC Global, the corporation operates a portfolio of government contracting, energy, real estate and infrastructure businesses.
