USA DeBusk LLC (USAD), a Texas-based provider of industrial services to the energy and infrastructure sectors, said last week that it acquired Native-owned nitrogen services provider Nitro-Lift.

The transaction includes the Nitro Lift Technologies LLC, Nitro-Lift Fabrication LLC, and Nitro-Chem Solutions LLC businesses. Terms were not disclosed.

Founded in 2006, Nitro-Lift Technologies, based in Tishomingo, Oklahoma, is a Native American-owned oil and gas service provider specializing in nitrogen, fabrication, and chemical services. Nitro-Lift earned distinction as a Native American-owned business in the refinery and pipeline services industry, with its ownership comprising approximately 70% Native American heritage. In June 2020, Nitro-Lift Technologies achieved MBE certification, marking recognition for its minority-owned business status. Additionally, the company is an approved and preferred vendor for the Choctaw and Chickasaw Nations and an active member of the American Indian Chamber of Commerce of Oklahoma.

The acquisition by USAD, majority-owned by its management and supported by strategic partner First Reserve, aligns with Nitro-Lift's mission to develop economical methods using nitrogen to enhance oil and gas production, according to a statement. The move is anticipated to strengthen USAD's position in the industry by complementing its turnkey service line offerings.

In a statement, Nitro-Lift President Vernon Daniels said he anticipates broader access to domestic energy markets and continued growth through the integration with USA DeBusk.

The acquisition will also allow Nitro-Lift to expand its geographic footprint, according to the statement.

Following the acquisition, Nitro-Lift’s nitrogen operations will be rebranded as Nitro-Lift, A USA DeBusk Company.

Brightwood Capital Advisors, LLC, a leading private credit firm, announced that it has provided financing to support USA DeBusk’s add-on acquisition of Nitro-Lift.
