2024 GREAT LAKES TRIBAL ECONOMIC SUMMIT

The third annual Great Lakes Tribal Economic Summit returns to the tribally-owned Four Winds Casino in New Buffalo, Michigan, this fall with an expanded format over two days.

Based on feedback from last year’s 225+ summit registrants, this year’s event will feature new sessions and activities designed for tribal leaders, council members, tribal government officials, and executives from tribal enterprises in Michigan, Wisconsin, and Minnesota.   

During the two-day session, you’ll learn about current economic development projects and business strategies of federally recognized tribes in the Great Lakes states. Plus, experts will share information and analysis of federal and state policy, access to capital, funding opportunities, and legal issues that affect tribal economic sovereignty.    

The summit kicks off with a full-day session on Tuesday, September 17th, 2024, and a half-day session on Wednesday, September 18th, 2024. We’ll keep the agenda flowing but also leave plenty of time for networking and relationship-building with your peers from the Great Lakes and beyond.
