Native-owned Skydance Brewing Co. and the Fort Sill Apache Tribe are partnering to develop and operate a brewery, restaurant and bar at Apache Casino Hotel under a new agreement announced this week.
The project will include a brewery and production facility, full-service restaurant and bar, quick-service grill and a satellite bar on the casino floor. Construction is expected to begin this summer, with an opening planned for the first quarter of 2027.
The venture differs from an earlier Skydance concept at Kickapoo Casino that operated as a licensing arrangement. Under the new agreement, Skydance will fully own and operate the Apache Casino Hotel concept.
Plans for the venue include expanded dining offerings, a sports-focused viewing environment and a speakeasy-style cocktail concept called The Eagle’s Nest. The quick-service grill will feature menu items currently served at Skydance’s Oklahoma City and Midwest City locations.
Jake Keyes, founder of Skydance Brewing and chairman of the Iowa Tribe of Oklahoma, said the partnership reflects growing collaboration between tribes and Native-owned businesses in hospitality and gaming.
Jennifer Heminokeky, chairwoman of the Fort Sill Apache Tribe, said the project is intended to expand amenities and guest offerings at Apache Casino Hotel.
Founded in 2018, Skydance Brewing opened its first standalone taproom and production facility in Oklahoma City in 2021 after initially operating through a brewing co-op. The company added a second location in Midwest City in March and distributes beer through bars, restaurants, casinos and retailers across Oklahoma.
