Tribally owned Command Holdings said it hired an executive with extensive experience in federal contracting at both the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) and the U.S. Army.

Command Holdings, the non-gaming investment arm of the Mashantucket Pequot Tribal Nation, said it hired John Dicus as director of business integration and compliance. Dicus joins Command after nearly a decade at the SBA, most recently as the Seattle District’s lead business opportunity Specialist. Previously he was a contract administrator for the U.S. Army.

The hiring of Dicus comes as Command Holdings continues its strategic expansion with multiple acquisitions and aggressive growth, according to a statement. In the past two years, the firm acquired WWC Global, a management consulting agency, and two information technology firms:  Quattro Consulting and Celeen LLC.

The acquisitions helped increase the Command Holdings team to over 500 members and more than $100 million in annual revenue.

"All components of our operations are future ready," Jon Panamaroff, CEO of Command Holdings, said in a statement "Along with our reputation for unparalleled service delivery, John's tremendous knowledge of regulatory and compliance standards will provide us with a leading edge in our contracting process.

Command Holdings was established in 2017 and is the non-gaming investment arm of the Mashantucket Pequot Tribal Nation.
